Thank You!

Now that the dust has settled from our birthday party, we want to take a moment to give our thanks.

We have officially met our match for our fundraising campaign! We want to thank all of you who donated online, subscribed to our newsletter, came to our party, bought a silent auction item or t-shirt (or both!), and helped sponsor our event. Thank you for showing us what is possible when we all come together. Even though the temperature outside is 10 degrees above normal, our hearts are warmed by the generosity and support we have gotten from all of you. And if you haven't donated yet, you still can! Our campaign is going through the end of the year.

This past year has proven that what we are doing is striking a chord. We knew that our kind of storytelling would resonate because we ourselves were searching for content like this. Thank you for supporting this experiment and giving us the boost we need to keep going!

We are super excited about stepping into the new year with some money in the bank. We will continue to produce short videos and host conversations about community-centered issues, including housing, the obelisk series, education, private equity, healthcare, and immigration. We are also planning to start doing educational workshops to empower people to share their own stories and bring new perspectives to this place we all call home. 

Thank you for helping us keep 505OMATIC grassroots, independent, and ad-free, and for believing that New Mexico deserves an innovative model for community centered news that meets the moment.
