For our first episode, we’re starting with a question literally and figuratively close to home for us: What is local journalism for—and how can it actually meet the moment we’re in? With trust in traditional outlets on the decline, how do local journalists build something better, something people can believe in? On March 20th, we brought together some of the sharpest minds working in New Mexico media, put them on couches in front of a live audience at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, for a discussion about what it means to do the work right now.
