Hopewell Mann Neighborhood Stabilization Plan

Chainbreaker Collective has put together a Neighborhood Stabilization plan for the Hopewell Mann area. This plan comprises 10 years of organizing and planning work Chainbreaker has done in the neighborhood, and is full of recommendations like protecting tenant rights, building more public spaces, and improving transportation infrastructure. It is finally going before City Council on Sept. 30th, where the governing body will vote on whether or not to approve the plan. Yetzali Reyna Aguilar, a community organizer from Chainbreaker, details what is in the plan and how this is just this city council vote is just the beginning.
