On September 19th, 2025, unionized state employees, represented by CWA7076 protested outside of state offices to raise awareness about unfair bargaining by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham's contract bargaining team. After over a year of bargaining, state workers are struggling to get the state's contract negotiating team to take up many of the union's key issues, such as cost-of-living raises that keep up with inflation, options for remote works, and safer working conditions and worksites.
