Queer Joy Fest ABQ (This Saturday 5/30)

After a 20-year absence, the producers of WIMINFEST are excited to be back. Amid this current political climate, our strength, diversity, and unity need celebrating more than ever before.

New Mexico's rich and diverse history has given us a foundation for evolution, progress and growth. The first in our series of Queer Stories, we talked with Havens Levitt from the board of WIMIN Inc. about the past of groundbreaking WIMINFEST in 80s downtown Albuquerque and the upcoming concert and dance QUEERJOYFEST at the historic Kimo this Saturday.

QJF welcomes everyone in the LGBTQIA2S+ community to an evening of comedy and culture, with kickass performers: Kristy Lee, Marga Gomez, Joy Clark, and local emcee favorite Havens.
