The Future of Food Systems in New Mexico Live Show
Food IS for thought so we sat down with some of Santa Fe's most food-thinking thought-ers!! 505OMATIC's Warren Langford talked with Andrea Abedi from the Kitchen Table, City Councilor Alma Castro, Richard Shultz from CNTRL Environment Agriculture, and Shark from Burrito Brigade.
We talked how to turn a staple New Mexican eatery into an equitable worker-owned co-op, how to incubate your culinary dreams into culinary reality, and how to inception ourselves into confronting the fact that the food emergency isn't coming, it's already here. And the not-so-far-fetched idea of a bona fide aquaponics oasis inside the derelict Smith's, where you could collect your groceries straight from the vines, nourished by fish water, and then pick up the fish too. Hey, it's a wild future-focused discussion, and it's just the tip of the iceberg (lettuce).
